About Our Programs

Combined clinical and education expertise

We have paired the expertise of practicing clinicians with that of skilled pharmacist educators to develop programs that provide learners with cutting edge clinical skills and knowledge, while enhancing the learner experience through the integration of evidence-based learning principles.

Evidence-Based Learning Principles

As mentioned above, our pharmacy education programs integrate key evidence-based learning principles with the primary aim of creating learners that are critical thinkers and therapeutic problem solvers. Our programs aim to empower learners to develop and implement sound processes and patient-centred clinical skills.

Flexible and ‘Hands-On’ experience

Our programs are designed to fit in with the competing demands of busy pharmacists by offering a range of registration options, allowing the learning experience to be tailored to meet individual needs. All learners will complete flexible self-directed e-Learning modules, with the option of enhancing their learning experience through the addition of face-to-face interactive workshops and a ‘hands-on’ experiential placement at Alfred Health.
